The confidence myth
Waiting to feel confident before acting keeps most people stuck. Action usually comes first.
A common belief is that confident people feel no fear. In reality, many act while nervous, and their confidence grows afterwards from having done the thing.
If you wait until you feel completely ready, you can wait a very long time. The feeling of readiness often follows the action rather than preceding it.
This reframe matters because it gives you something to do today: take a small, manageable step, and let the evidence build from there.
